Acheivments:

Started in a car porch with only five children of two house maids, presently Aabroo operates five formal Aabroo Welfare schools and is educating over 1500 very poor cildren.

Aabroo enrolls:
- Children of house maids and domastic servents.
- Children of gypsy families.
- Children involved in rag picking.
- Children begging to suppliment their family income.
- Within eight years its primary school education initiative is upgraded to middle and now to high school education and a year of vocational training.

Aabroo has embarked on to a free nutrition and health assistance program for these children are mostly undernourished and almost all sick. Now all the students of Aabroo Welfare Schools get freshly cooked lunch and Aabroo Izhar Medical Centers provides free medical support for the children and their families and local communities also.

Aabroo runs all its programs on self help basis without securing any funding from the government or any foreign or local funding agency.

Aabroo has also initiated a Solid Waste Management & Processing program for its fund raising and sustainability.

Solid Waste Management & Processing program is devised to address envoirnment issues and promote recycling in the community through awareness and recyclable waste collection and disposal.

Aabroo is awarded a donee status from the Federal Board of Revenue, Pakistan. All donations given to Aabroo are tax exampted.
Awards:
- The ganeral secretary of Aabroo Educational Welfare Organization, Mrs. Robina Shakil, was voted the "Woman Educator of 2007" and was awarded a sheild by the Federal Education Minister Mrs. Zubaida Jalal in Islamabad.
- The president of Aabroo Educational Welfare Organization, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khan was presented with "Mohsin-e-Pakistan" award in Lahore in 2009.
Success Stories:
Aasma Anwar, seventh issue in a family of fourrteen children, all illiterate. Mother is employed as maid and father drives a donkey cart for his living. Aasmas elder sisters also employed as maids and suppliment their family income. Aasma Anwar is the first student of Aabroo Welfare School. She is very intelligent and performed extera ordinarily in her primary and middle classes. Based on her peformance Aabroo management decided to get her admited in Govt. Girls High School Model Town and support her to take Matriculation Examination from Board of Intermidiat & Secondary Education Lahore with science subjects. Aasma again gave her all to the studies and secured A-grade in 2008 annual examination.
Presently Aasma Anwar is studieng in the second year of four years General Nursing Program at Ittefaq Trust Hospital Nursing school. She is intends to do her Ms in nursing decipline.
